This is Simon from the "Lord of the flies" by Mr. Golding.

"A little, vivid boy"Dark skin, delightfully bright eyes. Also very nice and cute, in my opinion that is. He was always helping others and knew what to say to cheer someone up even though he was silent and hermit-like. Simon understood more than the other, even older, boys and was brave in his own way. The Christ-like figure in the book.

I adore this character *_* I was so sad when he was killed TT_TT... Why do always the best characters have to die D:>?

So generally I wanted him to look "like he could see something others weren't able to" so that's why he has a kinda grim look on his face. His shadow transforms into a cross because I wanted to show this Christ-like way of his character and also the sacrifice that he was made into [D':].

Oh, and that text is a line from the book. This is the question Simon asked himself before silently going to seek truth about the beast everyone was scared of.

I'm a n00b concerning boys' anatomy so please don't be too critical...
